Module 2

Credentials and Configuration

In this module, you will give the AuraNeo4j's fully managed cloud service. CLI an identity. You will create an API key in the Aura Console, store it in the CLI as a named credential, and prove your setup works with a real, authenticated API call.

You will:

  • Create an Aura API key in the console and handle its one-time secret safely
  • Manage named credentials with credential add, list, use, and remove
  • Add your own API key and confirm the CLI authenticates against the Aura API
  • Read and change CLI settings with config list, get, and set
  • Find where the configuration and credentials files live on your machine
  • Check your understanding of the boundary between credentials and configuration
