Get Started with Aura

Before you can build anything, you need a graph database to build against and a development environment wired up to it.

In this module, you will create your own Neo4j Aura instance, take a short tour of the tools the Aura console gives you, and connect your coding agent to both your database and the GraphAcademy MCP server.

By the end of this module, you will:

• Have your own AuraDB Free instance running, with credentials you keep after the event
• Know which Aura tool to reach for when you need to load, explore, or query data
• Understand the MCP server that comes with your Aura instance
• Have your Codespace connected to your database and your coding agent ready to build
