María Marcela Vegetti

I am an Associate Professor at the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional in Santa Fe, Argentina, and a researcher at CONICET, where I work at the Instituto de Desarrollo y Diseño. I earned my Ph.D. in Information Systems Engineering from the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional in 2007. My research focuses on semantic technologies and ontologies applied to industrial and software systems. I work on enabling semantic interoperability, data integration, and traceability across various domains, including product lifecycle management, process industries, and smart manufacturing. I have also explored the application of ontologies in digital forensics, telemedicine, and agile software engineering. My contributions include ontology-based models for version and variant management, integration of planning and scheduling, and cross-standard data interoperability.
