I’m a self-taught software developer who started using Python to “Automate the Boring Stuff” in my day job in the oil fields of West Texas, which led to me learning web development and ultimately creating, selling, and project managing an enterprise-level software application still in use by a major mineral interest company in Midland, TX. Building that application taught me a great deal about architecting the application, project management, and leading other developers. My main expertise lies in web development, where I've become skilled at crafting dynamic, user-friendly applications. I'm passionate about creating tools that help people do their jobs better and more efficiently. I'm comfortable working with the entire software stack and ensuring that different parts of the system work seamlessly together. I also have a strong background in data engineering and visualization.
