Module 1
Building a Domain Graph
In this module, you will learn the fundamentals of modeling a domain as a graph - nodesA vertex in a graph. In a property graph it can carry labels and properties., propertiesA named value stored on a node or a relationship., and relationshipsA named, directed connection between two nodes. Every relationship has a type, a start node and an end node. - using a worked example before building your own.
By the end of this module, you will be able to:
- Identify the nodes and relationships your own use case needs
- Define unique properties for node labelsA tag on a node that groups it with other nodes of the same kind. A node can carry more than one.
- Decide what belongs as a property versus a node
- Model relationships between nodes, including their direction and properties
- Create a base model for your use case
